Mike Has Been Doing This for Over 40 Years
Mike Steele picked up his first tools at nineteen. Forty years later, he has framed walls, laid floors, tiled bathrooms, built decks, and finished basements across Okotoks and the Foothills. He knows what quality looks like because he has done it thousands of times.
He started GR8 Horizons in 2016 after seeing too many homeowners get burned by contractors who cut corners and never communicated. His approach is the opposite. He starts every job by listening to what you want to achieve, then walks through the details and timeline so you both know exactly what to expect before any work begins.
Mike has lived in Okotoks since 2007, drawn here by the small-town community he wanted to be part of. He is still here for the same reason. Most of his work today comes from past customers recommending him to their neighbours.
